JJ's (June 2015) Tips in this issue: 1. What Do You Want? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Use the following tips as training tools. Present this situation to your group and brainstorm solutions together, or submit your own situation question to be answered in an upcoming newsletter. ------------------------------------- Do you keep getting the same results even though you try to improve some area of your work or life? What is the story you keep telling about what you want to change? --------------------- If you keep telling the same story and thinking the same negative thoughts about it, even in a humorous way, you’ll keep getting the same results. That’s because you keep thinking the same negative thoughts about what you don’t want. That’s your story and you’re sticking to it! You are literally attracting more of the same! This is the Law of Attraction! What you think about is what you get! Your mind has the power to attract what you want beyond your wildest dreams! So why continue thinking about what you don’t want when you could be thinking and visualizing about what you would prefer? Then you would attract what you want! "My Every Story Is Attracting its Vibrational Match…" "Every thought that you think is vibrating at a very personal frequency . . . and by the powerful Law of Attraction (the essence of that which is like unto itself, is drawn), that thought is now attracting another thought that is its Vibrational Match. And now, those combined thoughts are vibrating at a frequency that is higher than the thought that came before; and they will now, by the Law of Attraction, attract another and another and another, until eventually the thoughts will be powerful enough to attract a “real life” situation or manifestation." Excerpted from Money and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health & Happiness Most often you think thoughts all day long without being aware of the story you're telling yourself (self talk). Notice how you’re feeling! Then ask yourself what you were thinking before you felt bad or became sick. Your negative thoughts (ongoing story) or worries are probably causing low energy and bad feelings. Immediately turn your thoughts to what life would be like if you didn’t have these concerns and worries. A perfect example of this is a business owner client who made poor business decisions and now finds himself unhappy and depressed with a nine to five job he hates. His story is a negative one that he keeps repeating to himself. Until it was pointed out that he was attracting more of the same with his negative thought and comments, he was unaware that he was putting up his own roadblocks! When he started constantly visualizing what a new job of his liking would be like, he attracted job opportunities. As he interviewed and turned his thoughts to new possibilities his dream job appeared. Now he's creating a new life through his uplifting and exhilarating thoughts about the future. When you’re unhappy with yourself and some part of your life, you’ll find fault with others too. When you do find yourself being critical of yourself or others, stop and notice the good things about them too. This will turn you in the direction of appreciation and what you do want for yourself. "What Do I Want, and Why Do I Want It…?" "When you acknowledge what you do not want, and then ask yourself, “What is it that I do want?” you begin a gradual shift into the telling of your new story and into a much-improved point of attraction. You get the essence of what you think about—whether you want it or not—because Law of Attraction is unerringly consistent—therefore, you are never only telling the story of “how it is now.” You are also telling the future experience that you are creating right now."
