SITUATION QUESTION:
-------------------------------------

Are you remembering the right things this holiday season? Whether you are at work or home, it is a time of remembering and spreading the spirit of the holidays to others.

---------------------
SOLUTIONS:
---------------------

This has been an unusual year unlike any you probably have experienced in the past. The recession, layoffs, reduced income, etc. may have you feeling sorry for yourself or others and putting a damper on your usual holiday spirit.

You have choices. You can remember what didn’t work this year or you can remember what did work well and be thankful for those things. The more thankful you are for what you do have, the more you will be blessed with more of these important treasures.

Do you have your health, family, friends, home, work, food to eat, eyes to see? You live in the United States and that alone should make you feel thankful.

The Law of Attraction tells you to dwell on what you want and be thankful in advance of your getting it, and to be thankful for what you already have to attract more to you.

Look back to what you have attracted into your life in past holiday seasons. What do you remember from a past Christmas that makes you smile. What delighted you as a child?

I will never forget hearing Santa talking to my mother at our front door one Christmas eve when I was 4 years old. He knocked on the door since we didn’t have a chimney to go down. My mother told Santa he would have to come back later because my sister and brother and I were not asleep yet. Hearing this, I yelled out from the bedroom, “We’re asleep, don’t go!” As I heard Santa’s “Ho, Ho, Ho,” and the jingle bells outside as he left, I closed my eyes so hard my face hurt. I whispered to my sister, “Let’s hurry and go to sleep so Santa will come back!” There was no doubt in my mind that he had been standing there in his red and white suit right there at my house.

Another Christmas after I had two little daughters of my own, I was very ill with the flu. After dragging myself out of bed Christmas morning to open presents, I returned to bed for the rest of the day and night. The next day I felt more like my old self again and wanted to have Christmas, but I had missed it. You see, Christmas is a spirit, a feeling of loved ones around, giving gifts, attending Christmas eve services, cooking and eating...enjoying the best of what we have attracted that year. Christmas is a spirit!

We always attract some good things, and the way to attract more of it is to be thankful for what we have. Every Christmas since, I have been so thankful for my health and feeling of well being. The spirit of Christmas is all around us and miracles do happen. Expect them and be thankful for what you attract.

Be kind to your customers and loving to your friends and family. Go out and make some memories! Happy Holidays!!!!
